  • This retreat is designed for adults who identify as women (21+) who are creative, thoughtful, and craving a magical, meaningful escape rooted in nature, folklore, and connection. If you find yourself drawn to fantasy, whimsy, and stunning nature, this trip is for you.

  • Luxury 5 Star accommodation, all meals prepared by a private chef, all on-site workshops and activities from crafting to games and witchy workshops from hand selected vendors, and evening events centered around cozy connection. One off-site tour to some of Scotland’s most iconic sites and off-site photoshoot by a professional photographer are also included.

  • Flights and travel to Inverness must be purchased on your own (we are happy to provide guidance). Once you arrive in Inverness, you and your fellow travelers will meet us to take a private shuttle to the estate and shuttle service is also provided when we check out. Taxis can be arranged for outings to Inverness if desired but this would be at your own expense.

    Travel insurance is not included, but is required. This can also be purchased through us!

  • Absolutely! All adventurers, solo or not, are welcome. This trip is designed to foster connection, so you’ll be welcomed into a supportive, inclusive community.

  • You can opt for a private room with ensuite bathroom or share a room. Shared rooms have two beds, with one exception, so you will only have one roommate to share with. This gives you plenty of space and privacy!

  • We can accommodate most dietary needs with advance notice (vegan, gluten-free, etc.). Be sure to note this when registering.

  • We offer group pickup and return transfers from Inverness.

    Traveling from Edinburgh or Glasgow?

    • By train: Direct routes run daily from both cities to Inverness, with journey times around 3.5 to 4 hours.

    • By car: Scenic drives from either city take roughly 3–3.5 hours.

    • By air: Inverness Airport (INV) offers direct flights from London and other major UK hubs. From the airport, it's about 20 minutes to the city.

  • All refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. A full refund is available up to 90 days before the trip. Cancellations within 90 days will be eligible for a partial refund, excluding the deposit.

  • All rooms have a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, toiletries and coffee/tea.

    We will provide a recommended packing list closer to the trip, but think cozy layers, comfortable shoes, weatherproof outerwear, and whimsical apparel for the photoshoot.

    There will be a banquet dinner with live music and dancing on the final night. We’re dressing up, so we hope you do, too!

  • Yes. Glenfey is a women-centered, inclusive space. If you identify as a woman, cis, trans, or nonbinary, you are welcome here. Our priority is creating a safe, supportive, and magical environment for all guests, and we expect everyone to contribute to that spirit of kindness and belonging.

  • We have secured group rates with trusted suppliers and arranged to bring the experiences to you at the castle, meaning no travel hassles once you arrive.

    The rates include the 20% VAT tax on most goods and services, as well as exclusive luxury accommodation and provision of all meals, snacks, and beverages of high quality. We’ve included all of the activities in the price so you can truly experience it all.

  • While Scotland certainly isn’t lacking in castle accommodations, what makes this trip special is the connections you stand to make with other women who share your fascination with nature, lore, and discovery.

    We’ve found incredible guides and hosts who are eager to share their knowledge and craft with us. Those connections and the exclusive stay in the castle with only other women on the trip encourages you to immerse yourself in the experience and get lost in the fantasy.
